Not that I posted about it but I've been lurking others posts and picking up the general vibe of 'its just a ride with a sat nav in your ear' and I took that with me this morning. Completely relaxed, didn't even lose it when I couldn't start the bike cos it was in first or when the examiner stopped me 1 minute into the ride and asked me to do the independent ride first? I might have even been too relaxed as I got 8 silly minors?

Anyway picked up a 1982 450 nighthawk this afternoon as me first sorta big bike, a bit noisy, a bit clunky, a lot 80's n I love it

well done matey, I passed my mod 2 on the 30th of last month (last Wednesday), picked up a 1998 black cbr600 with 16k on the clock, absolute minter, yesterday, went down the post office this morning and got a years tax, sorted the insurance out (at a cost of £355) and have been riding all day today. what a brilliant feeling! such a buzz! hoping for some good weather tomorrow so I can hop back on after work! also me and a few friends are going to ride to the new forest on Saturday. a whole new world has just opened to me and it feels fookin fantastic! happy safe riding
