But, weird movies are good too! Wink Seriously, if we're talking straight flicks rather than horror/sci fi/arthouse I enjoyed The Last Samurai. I know theres a lot people didn't like about it, but I rarely pay attention to critics, if it sounds good I'll give it a go. Other films I've watched and enjoyed in the last week: School of Rock (Jack Black rocks - obv.), The Last Emperor (Excellent; beautiful), Man on the Moon (Jim Carey was astounding), The Taking of Pelham 123 (class). Smile

One movie I'm looking forward to is 'Alone in the Dark'. I loved the games so I'm hoping the film will be quite good. But then most game to film movies generally aren't.

It's not very often I'm stuck for words.

I bought a vocabulary and some wit at a car boot sale.

What time and channel for The Hole? Is it any good?

Don't get me wrong, I watched it all the way through, and thought it was OK.

I just thought that it was a rehash of Dances with Wolves. Same idea, different country and time period.

I will quote myself:

Er no, it is a pretty boring film, no good ideas and you always know the boys dad is going to save him. The special effects are quite good, but that is about it. However that is my opinion, you might like it, but it is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, just Smile

Don't its the biggest load of trash ive seen in a long long time , its like 1 1/2 hours long , but i felt like i had been sitting there for 4-5 hours - it would have made a good 30 min film (just for the special effects) but the story line is not good enough for a decent length movie , sad as i usually like anything with Ian Holm in it .

A good film i saw at the cinema recently was 'Ladykillers' with Tom Hanks in it , i was highly dubious about watching it but the missus dragged me in , i laughed heartily for the whole thing , definatly worth £5 of anyones money .

Just watched a cracking film on Sky Movies 4,

"K-19: The widowmaker" It is a film about a soviet Submarine in 1961 where the nuclear reactor started leaking. It was only rated 2 stars, but I thought it was amazing. Smile
