Any Ace Combat fans?

Got it at the weekend. Fairly impressed, its a cut down version of Assault Horizon with a basic campaign and focussed around co-op mulitplayer. Bits are slowly being added like a deathmatch mode this week (its down for maintenance at the moment) and more missions to the campaign.

Now for the possible snag. It is Freemium, the concept being every mission costs you fuel. A unit of fuel is restocked every four hours, up to a maximum of three. In addition to that you have stocked fuel, which is earned through challenges or can be bought.

It is apparently completely possible to play for free and pick up enough through doing challenges but after deciding I liked it, I bought the campaign pack. This gives you access to the campaign missions which are otherwise hideously expensive and after completing the fourth mission you get 20 units of fuel for doing it.

Give it a go if you're a fan of previous versions, being free you can get plenty of life out of it before deciding if you like it enough to pay anything.

Î used to love the Ace Combat games. I don't like freemium though. I like to buy a game if it's good, and for it not to cost me a penny more!

Nobody seemed to ever play it on 360. My friend and I were top of the list on several of the multiplayer missions after playing them for the very first time.
