Well, my first attempt at changing the front brake fluid went ok. Took about 30 minutes in total.
The first 20 minutes were me connecting the Oxford Solo kit to the bike, pumping and getting no joy.
Only after reading another persons post did I realise that I hadn't loosened the nipple (how much of a nipple am I?).
The Oxford bleeding kit certainly made the job easier that I remember on a car.

Anyway, great forum for information.

Next job, sorting out the electrics (lights come on, and go off as they please). If anyone has any suggestions on this, I'd be happy.

Thanks

Wiggle all the wires (and connectors) you can find and see if any of them cause the lights to go on and off (start with the bulb holder!).

Check all the earths are making good connections very carefully as well.
