Hi new biker. If I leave my bike uncovered out in the rain over night/couple of nights will there be a major problem?

What happens to a motorbike when you ride it in the rain?

No.
Although bikes are not built like cars with extra rust proof stuff.

Suggest greasing stuff and using protection like acf50 if you're worried.
I have found damp/wet is more detrimental to the electrics on a bike.

There is an argument that uncovered bike would be better than covered. That because uncovered can dry. Put a cover on it and then you have condensation to consider.

Either way I would consider security. Fix to a secure point or ground anchor.

If your bike cover is shit and traps moisture like my old one, you may be better off without it anyway Smile
