That does seem very cheap. Although I'm not quite sure what that price is, as it says it's going to auction. I imagine it will sell for a lot more.

It seems a huge price for a modified bike. It's not a championship winning bike (best finish was 9th). It's not a manufacturer team. And it's not from moto gp...

If anything I'd say the price is rather high. If you wanted an equivalent for a track day beast you could get it for far less. If you want an investment then there are far sounder bets around...

Doh! overlooked that... Just saw lots of reference to superbike.

Still... Not worth that much - a desmo rr cost less and was essentially a ltd edition street version of a moto gp bike from the 'premium' manufacturer.
