Got some CV carbs and manifolds from my FZR400 spare, which im thinking of bolting onto my CD200. Just for the hell of it and too have a twin carb set up Laughing Laughing

I haven't got the carbs on yet but the manifolds do fit.

Going to be using two of the carbs, blocking any unneeded connections, and jetting to suit.

My question is that the carbs when on the FZR are almost horizontal, but will be vertical when on the 200. Will this affect them or should they work?

Im going to have a go anyway tomorrow but if anyone can shed light on this before i possibly waste my time, it would be greatly appreciated!

It will affect float settings, and jets may not even be able to draw fuel from the bowl.

Thanks for the advice, I had a feeling it might affect the floats, just thought i would think out loud and see what other people thought!
