Hi,

Does anyone know how the German model GSF400's are restricted, 50bhp compared to the normal 53/59bhp?

Is it jetting in the carbs? CDI? or otherwise?

I wouldn't normally be to bothered but compared to my other B4 it is noticeably less pokey.

Thanks for any info.

Kev. Thumbs Up

German models were 50bhp for some reason, dunno what the restriction is, I'd look at the carb rubbers to see if they have a cast in restriction as a lot used to be done that way. Just cut it out if it has, if no one else knows what it is then either compare/swop bits from your other bike to work it out.
