Wee tip for other new bikers on over 125ccs.

If your bike doesnt have an aftermarket screen, seriously consider one!

Just fitted one of the Powerbronze tinted ones (ebay £55 delivered) and the difference it makes above 70mph (on private ground of course) is night and day. No more bobble head action at all.

And it looks a lot better too!

XD I changed mine from red to blue.. Actually I did get a double bubble screen, they do kinda stop the wind more than the stock screen I had.. but I'm debating whether the position you have to get into for it to have any effect at stopping the wind is more uncomfortable than the wind hitting your helmet at a fast speed. O.o hmm.

My 125 would hit 80 after a good length of time so probably not as useful - thats why I said on a larger bike fella.

Oh and the tape remark was cos I thought you was having a dig at mine.

I rode my 125 without a screen for very nearly a week. Never again. I've put a screen on every bike since then, or enlarged the stock screen. The Burgman's been the sole exception, Suzuki-san having designed it for actual practicality rather than aesthetics.
