Post your most recent near miss where you didn't drop the bike and there's no damage.

Saves every fucker making a thread every time they have a cager pull out a bit too late.

Had a nice one for the first time in ages this morning, dodgy u-turner down a 60mph road where traffic was slowed, me filtering over a broken white line, wet roads. Bam someone doesnt indicate and flies out to turn round and go back to avoid the traffic, I lock the rear a bit and powerslide the back narrowly missing the car, good stuff.

You know it's bad when you don't even get an adrenaline rush anymore Razz

POOR OBS RIGHT, did wonder what the traffic was doing stopped in the middle of the road. Turns out this fucker had stopped to u-turn, literally parked in the road till oncoming was clear, then did a u-turn with no indicators, people were raging Laughing There was a lorry behind him so I figured it'd broke down or some shit and couldn't see him.

This thread hasnt been made for an excuse to post my boring story honest

Young fucktard was in the far left lane (left or straight on). I was in the middle (straight on). This is a 70mph Dual Carriageway bear in mind, I was doing about 55, him about 30 and slowing (Kinda guessed he was going left) then with no indication or looking, he decides "OH SHIT I NEED TO TURN RIGHT" and swings across my lane (right in front of me) straight to the right lane... twat just veered across 2 lanes of 70mph DC at 30mph without looking or indicating. I only just stopped in time due to the complete lack of warning and he didn't even apologise.

Do you mean 'near hit' by any chance? Wink

A near miss would be where you JUST had a collision, to be pedantic Razz.

Near Miss is pre-op.

Cop van brazenly shot the lights today and would have collected me if I'd set off immediately at green instead of pausing to re-light my pipe. Plus ça change, these are the trusty warp threads on which we weft the rich tapestries of our lives.

Ah, it's posts like that that make me mourn the loss of my ability to rate. Thumbs Up Laughing

Pootling along at 40mph on a (reduced) 40mph dual carriageway, I'm in the LHL, ford fiesta on my right, pinging it down no less and the fiesta starts drifting into my lane, I turn my head and make eye contact with the guy and he just keeps on drifiting into my lane, cue some hasty yet tentative braking and lots of disapproving head shaking from me...

You're only deluding yourself. It's not his eyes that'll mash you up, it's his car.
