Does anyone know if you need to produce your old MOT certificate in order to get a new one?

Nope you don't need to produce your old one, unless the last MOT has a later date on it and you want the new MOT to last aslong as that one ( I.e. your MOT expires on 29/07, you take it for its MOT on the 20/07, take the old MOT with you and they will make out the new one too 28/07/2005 etc)

Hi

As above, but if you can find it take it along as it saves the tester some scrabbling round writting down the chassis number and the like, which will put him in a better mood.
