I'm attempting to get the bike up and running and just wanted to replace the rear pads and clean up the pistons.

I'd like to bleed and replace the fluid, but unfortunately I can't get access to the reservoir. It has two philips-head screws which are rusty, and upon trying to remove them the head just mangles up.

I've tried shocking them with a hammer to no avail. I've tried a similar technique that you chaps recommended last time in terms of trying to hammer a hex-screw into them, but that hasn't worked.

What's the best way to get them out?

Many thanks!
