Front Paddock Stand?

Just got myself a new front paddock stand, this one:-

I did have one with the fork type lifters on but I couldn't get the front axle past the brackets.

What I would like to know is, do I need to remove the front axle pinch bolt before using the new stand?

My bike's an FZ1-N, so presumably similar to R1 upside downers.

FZ1-N isn't on the list I've found of bikes that stand fits.
