Hi guys, I'm debating whether to buy a performance exhaust for my honda cbr 125 but not 100% fully sure yet, I've been looking around and not to sure on which one could be the best so just wondering if anyone could help me out with some advice or if someone has got one and their views on it?

Thanks in advanced

If you want to buy one, just get the one you like the look and sound of. You can save some money by getting a second hand one off eBay.

Absolutely no point, you won't get any more power out of it because that's literally what the engine can do. You'll get more speed than a performance exhaust taking the mirrors off and riding it naked.

Save your money for a bigger bike.

sorry but all these R125's and CBR125's running about with cans on sound awful to me, pulled up next to a guy the other day and it was earsplitting, pulled away and got away as fast as I could, and I've got an SC project on my bike

Noise is always worth it. Laughing

It actually is though.

Motad venom sounds good on my varadero 125 it was already fitted when I bought the bike because the original had rotted from the inside out.

I personally wouldn't buy one until the original was rusted to nothingness. It isn't like it is going to look cool with Losers plates anyway.

even though selling exhausts pays my (and 23 others at Motad) foodbill I would agree. Japanese engineers are very good and the idea that you can fit an exhaust and get a huge power increase when competing with them is rubbish- ride it, enjoy it and if it goes rusty or breaks then give us a shout and save a load of cash-

I had a scorpion full system on my CBF 125, IMO it looked better and sounded better. Opinions might be divided about whether a louder pipe is safer, but I thought it was. Stock pipe was getting rattly though so probably wouldn't have bought it otherwise.

For the sake of £50 you can have a carbon can that looks a lot better than stock and sounds a lot better.
If you dont like it, sell on.
End cans are easy to make money on.
