And once it starts, it runs rough but idles. When I try to give it any gas, it dies. I removed and cleaned all the jets and blew everything out, checked floats and put carb setting back to factory. And it still does the same thing. If I sit on the seat and jump up and down on the seat while trying to start it, it fires up. Then dies giving it gas. It is pissing me off. Mad Any ideas??

Have you checked to make sure fuel lines are clear and not being pinched?

Hi

I also think it's a problem with the electrics, my old xr was a pig to start unless I was sat on the bike..............

After a week I got pissed off with it, eventually I realised that the reg/rec wasn't connected properly (clipped in place).

All the best Thumbs Up
