HONDA RS125!!

Hi people what does anyone know about Honda rs125's are they just race bikes or can you get road legal versions, they sound good rs but more reliable than Aprilia.

What do you think?

Race only.

I believe that in japan there is a road legal kit for a Honda RS250 race bike. That would be cool because they weigh about 100kg and make about 80bhp when reasonably well tuned!

That would rock, however a second hand ratty one costs close to £8000 afaik and the road kit cost a further £2k.

Bit expensive but it would be fun!

The Honda RS is a proper gp race bike.
It is a lot, lot less reliable as such than a Aprilia RS125 road bike.
Expect to rebuild the engine to some degree every few hours of use, depending on the state of tune.

They do weigh bugger all and make a stupid amount of power for a 125, but would be very annoying on the road, suspension and geometry would all be completely track orientated.

Basically, don't bother.
