Anyone had it? How long did it take to recover? Felt pain in my heel for the past month at work and popped a few pain killers during my shifts and thought nothing of it.Was sent to occy health who said bursitis and now im seeing one of our Foot and ankle consultants on monday.Today its turned from painful bump on my heel where the achillies inserts into the foot to a hot, red mess and unab to put weight through it.Should I be worried.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Sorry to tell you this but it's probably the bad AIDS. Have you been to the doctors to see what they say and see what the next steps are? (Pun intended).

Yes, I would be worried if I'd chosen a career that involves regular physical work when I appeared to be a shuffling collection of ailments.

Have you considered going to work in the occupational health department? It'll save you money on your travel expenses if nothing else.

It's only two mins down the corridor from my current ward. I seem to have these spells of poor health. Last one was 2007/2008 when I had really bad Hypertension (187/117 the highest) and recurrent kidney infections.
