Apologies for what maybe an obvious/silly question.
I damaged one of my inner tubes by forgetting to inflate it when changing tyres, it caught the edge of the tyre as I levered it on
My tyre is 19" 3.50, the inner tube was 3.25-3.50.
Anyway I ordered this part:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/350576927295?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
Its arrived and I received a 3.25 - 3.50 - 4.0 inner tube. Should this be ok? Its for a front tyre but I presume this type of wide range fitting is for a rear?
I notice that my previous 19" 3.50 Kings inner tube appears to be better quality but I can't seem to find any stock in my size, anyone have any idea where I can get one?
Lastly am I correct in assuming its not worth repairing an inner tube on a motorcycle especially on a front inner? |

IIRC you can go half a size up and half a size down and it's safe
As to if it is worth repairing it depends, if you are in the middle of nowhere like the middle of Siberia (like I was) it is worth repairing inner tubes.
If you have $$$$ and are in an industrialised nation then inner tubes are neither here nor there. But you can patch an inner tube almost infinite number of times (a rear of mine was more patches than tube). As the exercise of patching and replacing a tube is about the same effort.
I have some inner tubes for sale btw
