Vaccum fuel tap prevents this.
Correct that floats sticking or full of fuel (either way not operating correctly)
However the vaccum tap means that the fuel shouldn't be on unless the engine is making vaccum. Thus the diaphram in the fuel tap is likely shot too.
The cure is to strip the tap, rebuild or replace the innards, then pop float bowls off carbs. Clean needle seats and check needles for wear, replace if needed & check that the floats actually float and haven't leaked.
For your stripped screws i'd reccomend cutting the heads into flatheads using a hacksaw & then using an impact driver to free them off. Awesome tool, purchased mine for exactly this reason with a set of GS500 carbs.
Should be peachy after that
Edit; Remember to drop the oil as petrol makes it thinner and not as good a lubricant. The oil/petrol mix however makes good chain cleaner I found when applied with a toothbrush so don't just chuck it ____________________ Please be aware that the above post may be full of complete nonsense.

That would be... oh God, yes... part 25 "Hyosung cock ass" or part 14 "pump ass".
But the prices! This right here is why I cannot recommend Hyosungs. Pump ass indeed.
Thing is, if the floats are working then it shouldn't matter that fuel is coming through the line: it should be stopped at the float valves. I'd get into the bowls first. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Right so am I replacing this part on eBay instead of No. 14 on the fiche or is it instead of having the fuel tap on there? Doesn't take much to confuse me as you can tell by now Iain! |

Seriously consider seeking a professional/clued up freind.
If you can't tell the difference between components and intend on replacing them parrot fashion without understanding of what they do and why they are there then you'll end up with a large bill & a whole load of expensi ve parts you diddn't need in the first place.
Not trying to put a downer on it, not being a wang, just trying to save you a lot of aggro & expense. ____________________ Please be aware that the above post may be full of complete nonsense.
