Anyone know of and can recommend anywhere in easy reach of Cardigan/Aberporth who will service my CBF600.

Needs to be either of these as I can drop and work to work, or drop and walk home from here.

Only places I know are half hour's drive away and I know that one does not offer courtesy bike to get back to work.

Cynically, I called the local Honda dealer to see if they could/would do it, but got a firm but polite NO, as if we don't do those motorcycle things, take your custom elsewhere.

Got a spanner monkey for a son, but he is flat out at the mo and whilst I have the ability and space to do it, really do not have the time and just want to throw some money at someone to do it for me.

TIA

Mike

It's tricky I'm afraid. Closest bike-centric place is probably Lamo's and that's a fair old hike from you. Windrush Garage in Eglwyswrw is mostly cars but the boss, Meredith, who is very good with four wheeled vehicles, does service bikes. I don't know how much he's prepared to tackle. Saw two bikes in when I was last there. Worth giving him a ring.

If you stick a post up in the workshop, someone local and mechanically competent may do it for beer money, or more money if you feel like paying it.

Cheers guys.

Might wait until the summer hols (off for 6-weeks) and take a day out to do it then.

Not in desperate need, just feel like I have neglected her a bit over the past 12 months since we met Smile
