Anyone know a good method of polishing plastics off an Enduro/MX style bike?

they arent charred or scratched as the bike hasnt really been off-road at all, they are quite shiny now, but ive just been using Muc Off speed polish, its good but if you dont apply it accurately it leaves white marks which is quite annoying.

trying to polish/shine plastics like this https://i1375.photobucket.com/albums/ag457/matthewthomaswadling/MyYamaha6_zps03925b0e.jpg

Obviously dont want to use a proper polish like T cut or anything you'd use on a metal tank or a car because its slightly abrasive and would probably leave swirl/scuff marks!

If anyone knows good products or anything for this please let me know!

Thumbs Up

a quick squirt with silicon oil followed by a quick wipe with a rag does the trick, shinier than a shiny thing

Auto glym super resin polish for shine. If there's any swirls you'll need something with more cut in it like meguirs or tcut.

Poor boys black hole is the best thing for black. But probably overkill for tiny but of plastic on a bike though

^^^ Also a big Black hole fan but it's really a pre wax glaze treatment which
offers little protection but does prepare paint beautifully for waxing.
I usually use Natty blue paste wax on top of black hole, they also do a
version for pale colours called white diamond but still needs wax on top for best results.

Chemical guys pro detailer spray.

some places call it P40, some PRO detailer. Just a mis type on the
label I reckon. 4 is above R. Been using it for years on my cars.
Now using it on my bike. A whole new detailing challenge for me.
P40/Pro detailer does glass plastic paint and metal, spray on and wipe off.
I clean my bike waterlessly in the shed with this between rides,
cleans dead bugs off great too. Leaves a little carnuba wax to protect.
I also use Chemical Guys tyre and trim restorer for anything black on my bike.
Inc the frame and all the plastics and rubbers, it leaves a shine behind
and a lasting semi waterproof invisible coating which beads water on
everything you have used it on. Been a fairly active detailing enthusiast
for a fair few years now, but only on cars. I'm just becoming familiar with
bike specific cleaning products. Pretty impressed with Sdoc100 so far.
