Hi all been a while since my last post, just want to pick peoples brains.
I have a old rg 125 just finished some genral maintance ie new chain and sprokets, new front tyre, engine service, i keep a record of my compression tests and been looking through them.
I did a topend rebuild about 3000 miles ago the compression test was 150psi then after 2000 miles 160psi now at 3000 miles 175psi all test done at operation temp. Should i be worried with the psi climbing i have looked up the exhaust port and theres no carbon buildup?

Many thanks russ

175psi does sound high for a two stroke, but it could just be from the rings bedding in on the bores. I wouldn't worry unless there are running problems TBH.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.
