Hi

A week ago my wipers started going slow, and occasionally stopping when they were going across the screen. Now they've stopped completely. Washer still works fine. Rear window wiper works fine, and the fuse is ok. Can't hear a noise from the wiper motor when they should be going.

Am I right in thinking the motor is buggered?

Cheers

Certainly sounds it. Check the contacts and such first, of course.

Check the scuttle isn't full of water. That buggers wiper motors.

Cheers m'negros.

Scuttle fine, wiring looked ok but it's a bitch to see. I'll unbolt tomorrow and see where we're up to. New is £100, used £50-60. Unsure if any others fit from other cars but I'll check, it's an ml55 so no doubt attracts "amg tax"

Just get the part number and Google it, most likely find a Fiat punto or something has the same part. Then search that on ebay etc
