Honda CBR 125R FI

At precisely 6500 RPM it starts to vibrate a lot more. I notice it even more when engine breaking. And when the RPM needle hits 6500 RPM it acts a little weird. Any ideas??

Vibration at a certain revs usually indicates carbs out of sinc, but also occurring on the the overun would seem to discount this.
Could possibly be something loose.
Try checking engine bolts etc. for tightness.
Sorry .just noticed its a single Embarassed But still could be something loose as above

Try to run it at the top of the rev range at least 5 minutes, it'll clean the engine and could help. In fact, if I ride my ZXR slow whole week, it gets rough, then I do one flat out run and it gets smooth like new again. Thumbs Up

Hi

Most bikes tend to vibrate at certain rpm. Just when things resonate. But not sure where this normally happens on a CBR125, nor whether the amount of vibration you are getting is unusual for one of them.

This wouldn't be relevant to 'carbs being out of balance' as injection throttle bodies can also go out of balance. But the CBR is a single so nothing to go out of balance.

All the best

Keith
