Am i wasting my time

hi guys got a dilema i sold my sofa on ebay on the 5th of july, advertised it as collection only and about 30 minutes after the listing had ended i emailed the buyer with my address and asking when she would like to collect it, however it wasnt until the 8th that she got back to me and said that she would like to collect it the following day, replied asking for a time she's free and havent heard anything since. do i cut my losses and resell it on or do i wait a bit longer to hear from her? not in a massive hurry to get rid of it but want it gone soon as its taking up space in the spare room,

what do you guys think? thanks.

Reporting a buyer as a non paying bidder can be a good way of getting the attention of seemingly unresponsive buyers.

They already know that and from the sellers point of view; the longer you wait to report them, the longer it is until you get the final value fee refunded and your item relisted.

i know i should just say sod it and re sell it i've emailed her and informed her that i will resell it if i dont hear anything and shes got until tomorrow, but i have noticed in her feedback on sunday the 13th some one has left her feed back saying that they hope she enjoys the new sofa so looks to me as if she has bought another one and isnt bothering with mine and not telling me.

You have to wait 48 hours from opening the eBay dispute before you can relist it for free and get your final value fee credited to your account.

Just report her, you've got nothing to gain by waiting and the sooner she's got a non-paying bidder strike, the better.

Also block her from bidding on your auctions,

I havent had to pay any fees yet and looks like i may have been able to sell it outside of ebay so may not have to pay any charges regardless, didnt know you can block people from bidding i will make sure i do that, thanks for the advice

I never have understood why people are patient and lenient with the annoyance that is non paying bidders.

i dunno whats wrong with people on ebay, i sold something on sunday, wait untill tuesday night to ask him when he's going to pay up, message back saying he'll pay up on thursday, i doubt he will, but why couldn't he have said this before he bidded/ when he won the auction

bought something off some other tit, get a message to say I've won, but the things not available anymore, fair enough, then imma starting getting messages off eBay telling me to pay up because the dopes not ended the transaction, I'm doing him a favor not leaving neg feedback yet he's messing me about, ¬_¬

ste - i will certainly be reporting her for this as i dont understand why someone would bid on an item and not pay,

paddy- i'm the same i pay or arrange collection straight away, i gave her the benefit of the doubt to start with as i know not everyone has instant access to ebay all the time.

Rob fzs - the item is still available to them if they want it as stated ive just not heard anything from them so your comment is invalid.
