I am expecting extended wheelie videos of sections of the A5. I'm sure you could get some air on the A4086 where the road gets a bit undulating by the rock that everyone boulders on too.

I am jealous! Give Ghost a PM, I'm pretty sure he'll be itching for someone to go riding with by now.

Dunno if Ghost checks the forum much but might get an email if you PM him.

Nice Thumbs Up . Is it sporting a FMF pipe? All it needs is some handgaurds IMO.

Out of interest, how much was it if you don't mind saying? Something like that here would go for around €3,500-€4000 easy in rubbish condition. I can see why there was an influx of Europeans going to the UK to fill a van up with second hand bikes and bring them back now.

That sounds about right that Rob, I paid £3300 for this with the offroad wheels/tyres etc!

I reckon it must have about 1k's worth of bolt on bling, and the rims alone have to be worth £600+ it's a good setup but I really don't like buying someone elses hard work so am just gathering ideas and waiting to put my own touch on it Thumbs Up

It's got a full carbon FMF on it including the front pipe Shocked it's got a removeable baffle and the last owner has lost the screw to refit the baffle so it's just absolutely mental sounding Laughing

I was a bit off with my original estimation and I've just looked into it a bit more (stupidly, as now I want one even more!). €3.5-4k will get you an old bog standard KTM 620/640 LC4/Duke from the late 90's/early 00's and you're looking at around at least €5k+ for anything '05ish or newer. I've only seen one bike (of a few hundred) advertised with both SM and off road wheels and there are trailies from the 80's commanding €2k+ here as well (and selling)!

To be fair, the TÜV (German MOT) does last for two years so anything that's just gone through will command a bit of a higher price but I'm shocked at the lack of cheaper bikes over here, especially considering how popular bikes are here.

My anger is all arbitrary anyway, I won't have any money for a supermoto for a long time anyway - I'm just bitter Laughing

I did a bit of tinkering in the garage last night, installed a set of new Fatbars as the standard setup was shite. Moved them as far forward as the standard mounts allowed and also swapped the bracket around so they sit slightly higher, result is awesome!

I'm still slightly unsure on the gearing it's running 14-42 at the moment which I think is too high, it's difficult to get it to rev out in top gear but at the same time it makes riding fast a lot more comfortable. I guess all I can do is drop a tooth on the front and see what the result is.

Really not used to wheelying a thumper and also the 17's are throwing my balance right off (I can wheely my EXC200 much further) Laughing

Pic from today (usual spot, great road) Thumbs Up
