Hi All

Im a new rider, and having only been riding for a year now. Learning to ride was one of the best decisions I made, as I throughly enjoy the experience and commute to work. I have a 2009 Triumph Thruxton, and wanted to get used to riding the stock bike before deciding on having any mods done to it.

Its now a year year on and I've recently purchased Predator exhausts from British Customs, they were very helpful explaining to me what remapping meant when I questioned what does it do.

I've watched videos on replacing exhausts for my bike, but they are not as detailed as I would comfortably like, and even though I'm relatively confident in replacing the exhausts myself, I think i would prefer to leave it with experts, who can do the replacement and the remapping in one go.

I havent had much luck finding a workshop that can do both. I am based in London, so asking if anyone has any recommendations.

Much appreciated.
Gus

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

You should be able to do it yourself, you can upload a different map using TuneECU. I can tell you how to do it on a Daytona and the principle will be the same but you'd be better off finding a bike specific owners forum - there will be a guide on there.

EDIT: just saw you're a new rider. Ignore this, but it could be handy to know in future when you have more experience spannering.

If the exhaust is a custom made or rare one there won't be a map suitable for it. Plus a custom map will always be better than a standard one.

On 675 the TOR, Arrow or improved standard maps will suit most applications. There are options for full and half system an slip on systems.

I'm not saying it's perfect but in the real world most slip-ons are the same. I used the cat-back Arrow map with my GPR half system, deleted the flapper and it fuelled beautifully.
