hi new to the forum I have just got a 1982 Honda px 50 should the bike have indicators on as my bike does not will there be needed for a mot seen the bike is a 1981.
Also what oil should I put in .

They don't need to be fitted to pre '86 bikes but if there's a switch then the indicators must be present and must function.

However, you can get around this by taping over the switch.

hi thanks for your help. There is a switch but I will tape over it.
Any ideas what oil I should use as I want to service the bike soon as possible.

I'd use Castrol R. It's great oil but, above everything else, it smells fantastic.
