After a resent rebuild I have a problem with the earthing of the battery and the rectifier. I have two negatives from the battery the larger of which I presume earths direct to the frame, the smaller cable and one of similar size from the rectifier I am not sure where they go. Any help would be much appreciated.

Got one but Haynes don't cover the 83 model only after 93.

Off the top of my head, I think the thicker one should go to the starter solenoid, and the reg/rec negative should plug into the common earth line in the loom. Black with a white tracer seems to be the favoured colours for Suzuki looms, in my experience.
