Hey,

just wondering if anyone knows of any engine mount bolts i can use for GSXR K4 600 - had to replace the engine due to a sheered bolt from an RNG crash bung, bike wasnt even dropped just feel off on the motorway, luckily the other bolt came off and i had a chance to save that side but now i want new bolts and no crash bungs.. i believe it is M* thread and size but is there a specific bolt? i cannot find anything on the web and wondered if they need to be tapered or not for the head of the bolt?

worst case is i will have to buy a new set of crash bungs Sad

Does it use the ones that go into the cylinder head?

Thats exactly the bolts!

was wondering if there was anything more re-enforced / heat treated? i have a couple of bolts here that are better quality or would it be recommended that i use the original suzuki ones?

where did you find these codes? i must have not been looking properly! Embarassed

The manufacturer has done their research, what you deem to be a "better bolt" may not fit in with their design. I would go with the OEMs for engine mount stuff.

yea i appreciate that, but there is no dealer near me at all and no website for me to order from.

Suzuki in the UK seem to be disappearing!

You can order stuff to your door fro robinsons foundary. Used them before. Expensive but you get the parts you need.

managed to get the parts on order from a dealer that is nearer to me - turns out suzuki website was showing the wrong dealers.. all fixed now, i knew about the shop but thought dealership was taken away!

any way £12 later i got the bolts ordered and will be delivered this week i hope!
