Just FYI - the EHIC card isn't a replacement for insurance, it only helps you get treatment (that you may still have to pay for).

Do you need worldwide/Euro-only/US etc? Any pre-existing conditions?

Google motorbike travel insurance? I just bought cover for myself through a company specialising in bike tours and it covers me for Europe and includes medical expenses and luggage. I think the company is called tag insurance?

Marks and Spencer do good travel insurance.

I forget the name of the company I used for my bigone trip, but I put in a $150 claim and they paid out pretty promptly.
