My worrying is at an end, after having the rear wheel bearings replaced (they "collapsed" - whatever that means), my bike then went on to storm through its MOT with a pass Very Happy Thumbs Up .

Way to go Andy's NSR Very Happy

Yep I'm quite happy with it Smile.
The only thing that could make the NSR better i think is clear headlight covers, and enough extra torque to power wheelie Smile.

Well done, whats even more amazing is that my £300 22 year old VW Polo passed it's MOT with no work needing doing after being neglected for ages, and my 16 year old bike only needed one of the rear footpegs welding (so it hangs straight, new MOT law) for its certificate (total cost £5).

Your bike looks very smart By the way Thumbs Up

Cheers, Jonathan

ARGH! Just got back from picking the bike up, I mighta found a job too Very Happy.

The bad side is that I was happily screaming back from the test center to my house, and the bike started acting a bit, well, notchy.I'd twist the throttle and instead of coming on smoothly, the bike would just jerk forwards. I figured I was running low on petrol, so i tried to keep the bike at constant revs. I was doing fine until I got stuck behind some stupid slow octagenarian in a panda!!! After about 20 seconds of being stuck behind this dozy bi*ch the biken died and I pulled over.

Eventually after fiddling with the fuel tap, banging on the seat, and using various profanities, i got on the bike, and coasted down to the bottom of the hill. I had to push it halfway up the other side, to a garage that didn't sell petrol Evil or Very Mad . I managed to phone my dad who eventually turned up with a petrol can Smile.

Just before we left, another mate who i see at a local bike meet pulled up and asked me if everything was ok - Aren't bikers great Thumbs Up Very Happy .

Well, that's my little story, I figure most of you won't want to read it, but i swore to myself i'd bring my hard work (Razz) pushing the thing into the public eye Wink .

Andy

(Very hot, sweaty and thirsty)
