Got to be a scam of some sort. Maybe they meet the buyer at some remote location and mug him?

I recognise a number of those bikes, I think the user just lists for other people for a small fee or something, as they can't be bothered to do it themselves. The inconsistent background and lack of phone number leads me to think its a middleman arrangement.

Kinda like bike finder on ebay, has 3 feedback but about 300 bikes.

Too many bikes to be a trap boink on the head steal your cash type arrangement, which I've seen a lot of.

I think the police should be informed of these and make a visit to check they are legit. They are VERY cheap

That mint condition Harley Davidson was only listed for £4.5k!

I know they are shite, but I'm expecting at least 7K for that?

That's bizarre. There does seem to be a consistent story that the owner is potatoed. Needs looking into. Thinking

It may be like that one there was a thread here about a few months ago. Lots of very cheap nice bikes, if you phoned and asked about one the guy would say it's just been sold but they have a almost identical one (costing twice as much).

Definite scammer. Probably asks for a deposit and then disappears. I googled his username and there are dozens of hits from people on other forums questioning the same thing.

Too bad, I wanted a Ducati 1098S for just over 4k.

A 2014 R6 for £3500... Seems legit...

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2014-YAMAHA-YZF-R6-BLUE-/111400948703?pt=UK_Motorcycles&hash=item19f00393df

Or £4000 for a Honda C50?

That's the stuff.

Now, how the cock do you actually report a fraudulent item in a way that lets you explain to the eBay monkeys why it's obviously a fraud? Eh?

This happens a lot with tractors and farm kit, for some reason they are often stated as being in Aberdeenshire, but because the seller is clueless and probably in Nigeria they sometimes choose American models and not unusual to see obviously North American farmstead backgrounds.

If reported as fraudulent they usually disappear within a few hours, some of the listings on the above account are gone now anyway.

Ditto. I'd go out on a limb and imagine that 2 reports on the same item = banhammer.

Probably won't be as blatant next time. Sad

Right click picture - 'search Google for this image' - (In Chrome anyway, I'm sure the other browsers have something similar) - this will usually reveal the original advert (or multiple links, revealing other attempted scams using the same photos)

e.g.
