On my way back from B&Q in the car earlier, I was overtaken by 3 lads on peds.
They were riding in the style so often adopted by ped riders, constantly swapping the lead while buzzing all over the road.
Anyway, they rode away and out of sight.

I never want to see anyone come off their bike, or any other kind of road accident for that matter but I did have a little chuckle to myself when I caught up with two of the lads at a roundabout.
Not entirely sure what happened, I think one had run ito the back of the other, but both peds were lying at the entrance of the roundabout in quite a few pieces.
The funny thing about it all was the pointing arms and fucks flying about.
I pulled up, stuck the hazards on, picked up some of the larger bits of plastic and imparted a few words of wisdom from my extensive and illustrious riding career. Rolling Eyes
By the looks on the lads faces when they'd calmed down, I think a slightly expensive lesson may have been learned.

You don't live anywhere near my local B&Q, all the wood is warped, bent or twisted.

Our B&Q has a "death row" for plants, they're dead cheap. We get all our plants from there. It's amazing and very satisfying bringing them back to life from their wilted state.

However we've never seen an accident on the way back, or there. Mr. Green

Unrelated but B&Q are expensive. For general stuff same stuff cheaper at Screwfix. It's owned by the same people as B&Q.

Obviously not for bbq charcoal though, but you guessed that.

I used to work with someone who now works in B&Q, he's not as stupid as you'd expect one of their employees to be.

The vast B&Q just down from Grimston Bar roundabout is scheduled to close. So I says to Mable, I says

None of this actually happened. You're still in B&Q but your mind has suppressed that to protect itself and it has generated a false reality that you'll accept.

I saw a ped-boy pulling terrible wheelies whilst on the pavement (trying to impress his fat girlfriend presumably) and with his helmet kind of perched on the back of his head. He then pulled into a park and zoomed off accross the grass, passed playing kids and picnicking families in a choking cloud of white smoke.

Sometimes these people need to fall off and get injured to realise what monumental cocks they are.

My office backed into a bit of open ground with a low fence made with concrete uprights and scaffolding tubes, about two foot high.

Ped boi comes screaming across and hits fence, rolls onto his back, legs aloft. Both legs shaped like question marks. I called ambulance, covered him with blanket held his hand etc.

He came back about two months later, to thank me. Still on two elbow crutches, both legs still bent and one considerably shorter than before. His life would never be the same.

Grim. Some lessons are hard learned.

Had I been on the bike, I would have parked it up and walked home. Even a pesky ped can overtake my gutless Astra. Embarassed
