Hey guys - I recently picked up a Honda C90 from 1969. I have been searching high and low and can't find ANYTHING on what carb I should use on this. The old carb is shot and I was just wondering if anyone here could link me to a carb that would fit. Completely new to this bike but trying to get it up and running. Also any good performance mods. Thanks!

That's a very early example, are you looking to do a concours restoration or just get it running?

If you just want to get it running, look for a carb from any C90 on ebay.

There are quite a lot of performance parts available, because the cub engine configuration is used in pitbikes. Engines are available in capacities up to about 150cc, along with larger carbs and open exhausts. You won't gain much by just bolting on a bigger carb or exhaust.

If you're looking to ride the bike on the road and want to be able to trust it, I would recommend stripping it down to a bare frame and treating any rust. From memory they use a pressed-together steel frame which can rot from the inside out, so you really want to get down to the bare frame and see if it is totally rotten.

Just looking to get it going to puts around my property. I've tried getting on that website but for some reason every time says it's unavailable. Hopefully the server is back up soon. the carb it self is pretty darn shot and is cracked so I think it'd just be easier to buy another but I can't find one anywhere.

A 1969 C90 is a 6vt C90 nothing like the modern C90 or pit bikes it is a totally different engine !

When the club site is back up We had a server problem there will be several experts on the 6vt bike able to tell you where to find a carb

You can see a schematic with part numbers here https://www.cmsnl.com/honda-c90-england_model15863/partslist/E13.html#results & see if it is similar to yours...

There's one on eBay but the choke is missing & the cheeky bastard wants fifty five quid!
