GSX600f gearbox noise?

Me teapot has started making a grinding/rumbling noise at low revs, first noticed it today shifting into second at low speed. I've had it up on the stand at home and its not making the noise at all in first, but in all gears above its there till about 4k. Other than that the bike is running fine.

I'm hoping its something daft but worried its the countershaft bearing?
