Is it a Shogun or Pajero? Not sure on the differences but one is an import isn't it?
I was looking at getting a SWB Pajero for laning duty but couldn't justify the supposedly below 20MPG people are claiming to get. In the end, a mate of mine wanted to swap my Fiat Stilo Estate for his Jimny, so a deal was struck and two days later, fitted 28" BF Goodrich Mud Terrains, a two inch suspension lift and removed the anti-roll bar. Snorkel next!
It was this very thread which made me want a small laner.

It's a Jap Import Pajero.
They're good for about 30mpg (Well our LWB one was anyway), so I guess the SWB must be equally as good.
Either way, it cant be any worse than the 15mpg~ my SJ413 was returning. ____________________ - Honda XL125S - CBR400 NC29 - VFR400 NC30 - CBR400 NC29 - TL1000R - TeeZeR Pit! - Bandit 12 - YZF450 - LuckyMX125 Pit! - Demon X XLR 140 Pit!

I's heard rumours of circa 20MPG from the Pajero's, which was putting me off a touch, my Jimny only gets about 35ish, my other cars all got around 45.
That SJ was terrible and awesome at the same time, I keep going through and re-reading bits because most will be very similar to my Zook.
You've done a neat job with the GPS, what's it like driving an auto offroad? ____________________ Current:1991 Honda MT50 (Soon to be a H100/MTX/MT5 hybrid), 1976 Honda Cub C70, 2005 Honda Varadero 125, 1993 Yamaha TTR250 Open Enduro , 2010 Road Legal Stomp YX140, 1994 Honda CRM 250 MK III, 1999 Cagiva Mito 125, 1992 Honda CB400 Super Four, Stomp T4 230, 1984 Honda H100s, 2009 Sym XS125K

I've not tried it off road yet.
Took it to work today and smashed a few big holes in the body underneath. Rotten in areas.
Will bust the MIG out next week and sort it out.
I've been told they are pretty good off road. But only having A/T tyres, I wont be pushing it too hard. ____________________ - Honda XL125S - CBR400 NC29 - VFR400 NC30 - CBR400 NC29 - TL1000R - TeeZeR Pit! - Bandit 12 - YZF450 - LuckyMX125 Pit! - Demon X XLR 140 Pit!
