Hi all,

I'm after a rear brake pedal spring for an '04 Hornet. Reluctant to pay £11 for a spring and delivery, so I'm after a cheaper site.
The part I'm after is number 9.
I've tried WeMoto, David Silver Spares and ebay but no luck. If anyone knows of any cheap websites it would be appreciated.

Thanks

Maybe try one of those markets where people try and get rid of motorcycle related bits and bobs.

Here's a link to help you out. There's one taking place tomorrow in London.

Have you got the old broken one, or know what it looked like?

If so go to the nearest small car parts place (not Halfords, a proper one with rude arrogant staff who talk to you like you're wasting their time) and ask to see their box of many sized springs that they buy in sets, you'll probably find the perfect one for about 50 pence.

hi,
why not just buy a spring?
theres nothing special about it is there?

just measure old one + go to any hardware shop (am sure even evil bay will be able to match it) + ask them for a spring the same size.
i've done this a few times, especially with exhaust manifold springs.
if 1 gets lost, i measure the other + buy a replacement for like a pound,
cheers,
GAZ
ps : my local sunday market has a guy that sells nut & bolts & other stuff & i've got springs off him umpteen times, without any issues, usually for less than a pound. probably something similar to where op lives.
