i got a creaky tendon?!

anyone else had a creaking Achilles tendon before?

it happened halfway through a charity bike ride (50 miles in with 50 to go) i finished the ride but my ankle was sore n'creaking.

that was 2 weeks ago

Got back on my pedaller yesterday an i had literally done a mile an the pain & creaking was back - have i caught aids or something?

I once dug a load of concrete up with a pick axe and it caused the tendons in my wrists to swell and they creaked so much people six feet away could hear it. Took a few weeks to settle down.

got diagnosed with tendonitis

Rest it, if it doesnt go away they will do a cortisone injection - but this carries a risk of rupturing the tendon - oh nice

My tendon got injured in THE bike accident, it hurts like hell. Go see the doc, put your mind at ease. Its not like you could grow another one if it gets damaged...it takes a LONG time to heal.
