can you lads help me please i have just brought a 2002 nsr import and ive read that it can only do 85mph when derisricted is this true if so how can i make it go like the uk spec 100mph+ :D thanks taz

Im guessing here, but if the 2002 import is de restricted like a uk bike, then the only other thing that can be stopping it going so fast is probably the exhaust power valve. On some 125's they are restricted by having a dead powervalve, that does not switch to give power at high rpms. On some bikes like the DT its all there and fitted as std, its just that it doesnt operate, or some bikes have it removed like the older Aprilias did. I imagine that your restriction is just electronic, and either requires a wire to be connected/disconnected, or its the cdi box itself, but other than that i cant see how else they could have restricted it.
