Right folks. May have a problem. Some arsehole pulled out on front of me so had to do an emergency stop. Rear wheel came off ground but managed to control it. This was on the way back from the MOT! Anyway bike cut out as I was in 3rd gear and although I think I had the clutch in I heard a big clunk/crunch sound. Tried pushing it off the road with clutch in obviously but I struggled to move it. Managed to get it to side of the road and get it going but every gear change up and down now I can feel and hear this crunch sound and a loud whining noise. Could it be a major problem? Could I have done something to make a mess of the gears? Muppet in car sped off probably due to the fact he isn't insured as I've checked askMId website. Quite a few people saw it and said it was his fault. He got out of his car and threatened me and said it was my fault!!!!! Anyway Police are after him now! Any advice appreciated! Thanks.

sounds like a strip down, but at least its running. I had this happen to me some years back. mine was seized. a tooth had broken of one of the gears and jammed between 2 meshing gears which bent the shafts.
yours doesn't sound that bad but i think a strip down is in order to sort the problem.
hope its not too expensive.
