How hard this is for my varadero 125.

Syptoms;

Idle screw won't turn.

Tick over is low can't adjust it as above more times than not if I don't keep revs up even when up to temperature cuts out.

Pulling the choke instantly cuts out.

When I took it to a garage he said the idle screw had probably seized in the carb how much roughly to sort this issue if I go back to the garage?

If you can get a pair of pliers on it to turn it then it's free.

If you need to use an extractor tool and the threads not knackered then like 10-20 quid.

If the threads knackered then start browsing eBay for a cheap carb with an hours labor to fit.

I could force it with my fingers is this likely to cause any damage? Obviously there's resistance for a reason.
