A few things struck me whilst watching that, first was the crap clothing people wore, including the riders wearing rubber suits. 2nd, the amount of bikes with small amount of ground clearance.

Would they have known about rehydration in '65?

However, the main thing was the damned determination. Cool Thumbs Up

I was at the National Motorcycle Museum on Saturday as my mate John was launching his new book "The Six Day Affair" about the 1939 ISDT in Salzburg Austria. German occupied territory in august 39 was not the best place to be for the 70 odd British entrants and crew including Army and Civil Service teams who had to flee on day five of the event. it is a good read.
