Hello everyone. I'm one week into my around the World journey on a little Honda c90. I'm currently in France catching up with some old friends but I shall hit the road soon for Spain, and then...Africa! Here is my website if anyone is interested.

Hi guys.

Its been eight months to the day since the last post on this topic and I thought I'd come back and say hello.

Well, so far.... gone through one and a half Honda engines (I set off with a cursed one!) and I have a fully functioning Chinese copy engine in it now. It is actually great. I'm on my 9th country. Been arrested once, crashed 4 times and had my passport stolen. I'm currently in Ghana whilst I await a new passport. Taking its time!

It's all good though!

'Cherredee?' I'm presuming you're asking if I'm doing it for charity. I am. Two of them, Cancer research UK and Wateraid. But mainly it is for the bucket list, yes. When (a lot) of people from back home asked me in bewilderment why I wanted to do such a thing when I first got the idea and started talking about it my favourite answer, which was usually a stopper was 'Well, I'm going to die one day...'

No regrets!

You don't like clicking links?

https://www.liamandc90aroundtheworld.com/

There's more than 2000 pictures through my site.

It's not a quick job uploading photo's here in Africa!

Ha...cool...I just gave you two cool ratings. Well done for getting off your bum and going and doing it. Many people talk about doing such things, and talk some more and talk some more...then life passes them by, then they can't go cos of the cat/the mortgage/the wife won't let them - yadda yadda yadda...and before you know it they are too infirm to do much. Laughing

Like the blog, thanks for sharing. I've enjoyed browsing your photos. Thumbs Up

Pepperami man, if you really don't like clicking on links and I have time to get some photo's on here over the next few days (seriously, uploading can be a day long chore over here and I have to do it selectively) I will, just for you. Karma There's a lot to choose from but I'll pick a choice selection what I think are the best ones.

Okay, here's one photo for each country I've gone through so far. I wanted to put up so much more, it was really hard to pick them, and one for each doesn't do the countries justice. It does take a lot of time though... So in order, from top to bottom we have, France, Spain, Morocco, Western Sahara, Mauritania, Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso and Ghana.

I would say though, I wouldn't worry about clicking on my links. My site was built by Google and the photo's are stored on Yahoo's Flickr so I really don't think anything bad is going to happen to your computer if you browse through my stuff.

Thanks guys.

I'm back on the road now - I got my new passport about 2 weeks ago. Since then I've put Togo, Benin, Nigeria, Republic of Congo and Democratic Republic of Congo visas in it. £££

Should be in Nigeria in a few weeks... Not sure there's an emoticon that fits how I feel about that.

Well looking forward to the Congo's though!

This thing isn't about breaking records but I reckon I'll be the first person to attempt to ride through the Jungles of the Congo on a Honda c90. Can't wait! Very Happy
