I'm off for a 9 day bike trip at the end of the month and just thinking of things that need to be checked before I go. The bike is a 2001 onda hornet 600 with about 48k on the clocks, has recently had the front forks stripped down and refurbed, new air filter, new spark plugs, oil change, upgrade to R1 reg/rec, new battery. The chain and sprockets look in good nick and I'll make sure the tightness is bang on before heading off and it's all been cleaned and lubed up.anything else I should look at?

I'd wonder why you replaced both, and whether you've verified that the new pair are playing well together.
