Hello it's been a while since I been here hope everyone well! Anyway I got myself a yz426 head for cheap only exhaust valve guide snapped how does one take it out to replace a new one thanks in advance image blow

Lots of heat ( evenly - so it would have to be an oven ) and a big press - 5ton at least .

Oh it also has to be pushed out perfectly straight, if it goes off to one side the new on wont fit properly.

Probably better off getting it done by an engine rebuilder

Wasn't has hard as you said put cylinder in oven on 200 degrees for half hour used a long bolt bit smaller then the valve slipped out nicely Smileu
