I've seen that a lot of you who are under 21 and cant do DAS have taken 400 sports bikes and had them restricted to 33bhp so they're legal to ride after you've passed your test.

Did you ride anything before your test? It seems silly to restrict a 50bhp bike to 14.4bhp while I'm a learner? Has anyone tried it?

Preferably I'd like to get some practise before I did my test but its not looking likely, when I did my CBT my instructor reckoned 3 days would do it fine so im probably just gonna have to dive right in!

Any suggestions on any other routes i could take would be much appriciated Thumbs Up

Provided it is a 50bhp 125 then restricting it to 14.6bhp and riding on L plates is perfectly legal and possible.
