Hi - anyone able to tell how much Brake fluid I need to buy in order to replenish the whole braking system and the clutch on my 1991 FZ750?
TIA

Hi

Not sure, but not much. If just to flush through with fresh fluid then half a litre will probably do it.

But if you empty them first and refill from empty then the amount you will need will likely be far more (getting brakes bled from empty can take ages).

All the best

Keith

Hi - Yes I have the complete system dismantled as I am doing a restoration. Think I will buy a couple of litres and see how that goes. Thanks.

Hi

~5L cans are pretty cheap, but once opened it won't keep long. Hence for most people are probably better off buying several small bottles.

All the best

Not a vast amount. 3/4 of a litre of 4 dot should be more than a enough to do it a couple of times with a fuckload to spare.

A litre is just overkill and you could dust off and nuke it from orbit several times over with that amount....

If you have the Yam blue spots with a link pipe or Tokico 6 pots then order a tanker load of brake fluid for those nasty little chunks of metal.
