This is why you have a helmet cam. Post the vid here and report the assault.

I'm betting it was an off-duty wannabe traffic copper who's fireblade was in the wash.

I have experienced something similar before except my one took it upon himself to chase after me in his own car.

I'm quite impressed at the level of calm displayed here. I think I've have dropped the anchor at the point where he was tailgating and opened the negotiations with a "What the fuck do you think you're playing at, sunshine?"

Right or wrong it's an approach that's got me out of a lot of situations where I should have been eating a whup ass sandwich. One day I'm sure I'll come unstuck, but I hope I'm wearing gloves with carbon fibre knuckles on that day!

Not been given any aggro whilst on the bike yet, but when it happens I'm sure the armoured gloves will make me feel like the dark knight or something and there wont be any stopping me lol

There's no way you'll be disappointed when I get around to finally posting the video.*

Sounds like a right nobber.

Should have just carried on your merry way until he ran out of fuel, I bet it would have been a lot sooner than you.

Always good if you know the local area though and can lead them on a wild goose chase round in circles.

I'd have been tempted to wait until he got off his bike then rode off, let him catch up, stop, wait for him to get off and repeat until you don't find it that funny anymore.

Vid either needs to go to the police or to BCF, one or the other.

P.S. send the video to the police, cut out your dodgy riding if there is any that back and tell them you only started recording when you stopped because of how aggressive he was. Wink

This.

Trouble with doing this is that he may just say "He kicked me in the face, that's why I went after him" - the police [probably] aren't daft and would want to see the raw footage from start to end.

He started following me so I pressed record.

Ah yes the brilliantly filmed completely mistake-free bike chase from MI2...

re: Mission impossible, love the way the speed triples tyres change from off road to on road seamlessly, between shots.

re: The confrontation, I would definitely edit the footage, and pass on to police. The police MIGHT question why he acted like that, but he cannot PROVE you did anything to intimidate him, whereas you have footage which incontestably shows him being aggressive and intimidating, so if nothing else, they can take note, as the chances are the tosser normally behaves like this both on and off his bike, so could be known to police anyway.

If you edit the footage to show him at his worst, and you at your most angelic, then that's probably not a bad idea. You might be lucky, and the police might actually find out where he lives and pop round to have a word, in which case the shoe will be on the other foot, but more importantly, he might think twice about doing this to the next person.

Genius! Mr. Green

I had some old cunt in a Rover give me road rage grief once on the mway, he pulled up along side and made a gun shape with his hand, so I ducked, made one too and returned fire. It just seemed to upset him more Confused

Anyway, make with the vid!!!!
