Great news I sat my mod 2 test at 08:10 this morning for the first time and passed with 3 minors, the first minor was for doing 40 when I could have been doing 50 and the second was for doing 20 in a 30 zone Sad (we were near a school at that point and I wasn't 100% sure of the speed limit better be safe than sorry), the final was for road positioning at some point.

Not really bothered now though can't believe its all over bar the bike hunting now, already been for a test ride on a Kawasaki ZZR 1200 Smile, a very nice bike but not for me after 20 mins the palms of my hands were starting to hurt, not sure if that's my gloves or just the weight of me on the grips.

Really chuffed and over the moon can't seem to stop smiling Smile

Good job, minors are irrelevant other than to show how much DVSA Derek hates children.

You scored a test ride on a ZZR 1200 with the ink still wet on your pass certificate? Not mucking around, are you? Wink

Brilliant congratulations Very Happy bet you feel on a high after all the pressure of the test and training. Finally get rid of the L plates!
+1 for not hanging around and starting the search on a ZZR1100!

I had this when I first got my ZZR. Sitting on it wrong having got used to upright and feet forward. You need to grip the tank well with your knees and not try to sit bolt upright, that way you are not pushing your weight down through the wrists, once I got that in my head it became a pretty comfy bike.
